Some grab-and-go smoothies are loaded with sugar and calories. My version, which is a twist on one of Bryn”s favorites (she enjoys strawberries, but I like to use pears), is much lighter–and incredibly easy to make.
Pear-Fect Smoothie
Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup soy milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice
- 1/4 cup peeled and chopped pear
- 1/4 cup blueberries
Instructions
- Put banana, soy milk, apple juice, pear and blueberries in a blender; mix until smooth. Pour into a glass and drink up!
